Installation

Using the steel screws and anchors*, install the mounting plate to your wall at the desired location. The widest part of the plate should be pointing up - it will look like Mickey Mouse with screws for ears.

There is a corresponding steel plate in the interior of the lamp's backplate. It will slide into the wall-plate from above.

Once the lamp is secured to the wall you may install the shade. The brass thumb-screws will tighten around the shade collar to hold it tight.

Insert the bulb. Please observe a 60 watt max. I recommend an LED bulb, which will keep the fixture cool to the touch.

*The included anchors are intended for use with drywall, plaster or panelling. You may need to source your own hardware if installing into a different surface material.
Care
Natural brass will darken and patina with age. I think this is beautiful - naturally patinated brass is impossible to replicate. If ever you'd like to remove the patina I recommend using Brasso or Barkeeper's Friend.
For any finish other than natural brass, please wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid any harsh cleaning chemicals as they may tarnish the finish.
